Near for long distance

Stay close across distance without turning the relationship into a dashboard.

Near is a private one-to-one app for the small moments that matter between visits: a Light, a few words, or a Postcard that says you came to mind without starting another thread to manage.

Near open to one person's private Reach room for sending a small deliberate act across distance.
Small contact, often enough

Not every check-in needs a conversation.

Leave a Light

A wordless sign of presence. It can simply be there and fade, with no read receipt and no reply debt.

Send one line

Choose a short line or write your own words when texting feels bigger than what the moment needs.

Make a Postcard

Bring a photo, voice, and words together as one deliberate keepsake instead of another loose attachment in a busy chat.

Made for more than couples

For any one-to-one bond you want to keep warm.

A partner in another city. A close friend overseas. A parent, sibling, or family member you do not see often. Near does not score closeness or decide who matters. Each bond stays one-to-one, mutual, and separate.

No streaks. No distance counter. No last seen.

Near does not turn staying close into attendance. A month away from the app does not become a failure state.

Across the Apple devices you already carry

A small reach can travel with you.

Near is designed for iPhone and Apple Watch. A line can begin from your wrist, and a returned Light can come back there too. If the person you reach does not have Near yet, a supported iPhone can open a bounded Light through an App Clip before the full app is installed.

The point is not constant contact. It is making the moments you already mean to send easier to act on while the thought is still warm.

Private by design

Distance does not require more surveillance.

Near has no company account, advertising profile, relationship score, location map, or third-party analytics. Your private Hold stays yours. A person receives only what you deliberately send them.
